According to Indian Oil, after this increase, petrol in Delhi has been increased to Rs 81.35 per liter and diesel to Rs 73.56. Petrol in Chennai has been increased to Rs 84.40 and diesel to Rs 78.86. Petrol in Mumbai has been increased to Rs 88.02 per liter and diesel to Rs 80.11. Similarly, petrol in Kolkata has been increased by Rs 82.87 and diesel by Rs 77.06. Petrol in Noida has been increased to Rs 81.80 and diesel to Rs 73.87.
There is a relief in the price of diesel this month and there is no increase. But before this, in July, the government oil companies only increased the price of diesel. During that time, the price was increased by Rs 1.60 per liter in 10 installments. However, diesel became much cheaper in Delhi as the Delhi government reduced VAT significantly.
