The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has reported that the PM Cares Fund Trust has allocated ₹ 3100 crore to fight the coronavirus infection. According to the PMO, out of these ₹ 3100 crores, approximately ₹ 2000 crores will be given to purchase ventilators, ₹ 1000 crores to take care of migrant laborers and ₹ 100 crores to help in the development of the vaccine (coronavirus).
