100% WFH for private offices in Delhi; 23 die, positivity over 25%
On the day Delhi recorded 23 deaths from Covid-19, the highest daily death toll in nearly seven months, and 21,259 cases, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) issued an order directing all non-public Workplaces, in addition to those in exempt classes, are closed. The positivity rate on Tuesday was 25.65%, up from 25% the day before.
Another order to close bars and restaurants, allowing the latter to only offer takeaway and home delivery services, was announced by Deputy Governor Anil Baijal in a tweet after the DDMA meeting on Monday.
In addition to banks and other financial companies, insurance and medical companies, pharmaceutical companies, courier services and lawyers’ offices, corporate offices providing essential services – if courts, tribunals or commissions of inquiry are functioning – are also allowed to operate.
Services of essential items such as food and medicine, educational books for students, veterinary and animal care, telecommunications and internet, broadcast and cable television, IT and IT-supported operations are also essential services, refrigeration and warehousing, aviation and related services, data centers, Cloud services, etc.

As Janaki in the new Adipurush poster, Kriti Sanon emanates charm and dominates the internet
Adipurush featuring Kriti Sanon and Sita Navami unveiled new posters showcasing her as Janaki. The producers of Adipurush unveiled a new motion poster featuring Kriti Sanon, inspired by Sita from the Hindu mythology text Ramayana. The poster is a beige saree with a saffron dupatta covering her head, and features Prabhas as the main theme. It was unveiled on Ram Navami. Kriti and Janaki are reunited and the song Jai Siya Ram is heard in the background. The makers have revealed new posters on Ram Navami, showing the moral courage of their son.
