12-Year-Old Girl Sexually Assaulted In Paschim Vihar, Delhi

A shameful case of rape of a 12-year-old innocent girl has been reported in Paschim Vihar area of ​​the capital Delhi. After the rape, the rapist tried to kill the girl. The incident is being reported on Tuesday and the girl’s condition is said to be critical.

According to information received by the Delhi Police, the incident took place on Tuesday. The girl was raped and after stabbed by scissor multiple times. The girl was taken to Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital in critical condition but was later referred to AIIMS, where she is fighting for life and death.

On the basis of the complaint given by the family, the police has registered a case under the Poxo Act and started the investigation in this regard. Police is trying to locate the accused.

At the same time, after the matter came to cognizance, Delhi Women’s Commission Chairman Swati Maliwal wrote a letter to the SHO of Paschim Vihar police station asking for details of the sexual harassment of a 12-year-old girl.

Swati Maliwal tweeted, “According to the information received, a 12-year-old innocent was raped in Paschim Vihar in Delhi and brutally attempted murder. Our team has been with the victim since the incident, issuing notice to the police and seeking answers on this shameful incident. The girl’s condition is critical, pray all. ”
