Output 2: Improved project management system To ensure the smooth operation of the project, in accordance with the development goals of the government and ADB, a Project Performance Management System (PPMS) was developed and implemented to monitor and evaluate project performance related to impact, results, and output.

The following key performance indicators were monitored and evaluated: Project financial and physical progress Traffic Analysis Testing and inspection Web-based project monitoring system Road safety and value engineering social influence Environmental protection PPMS was developed by supervisory consultants; it includes computerized financial management, management information and quality assurance systems.

PPMS is used to monitor all aspects of the project during the construction and defect liability period. It generates progress reports and safeguards reports. The implementing agency is still using PPMS to monitor other projects. Project cost and financing After completion, the actual cost of civil engineering, which is the main component of the project cost, was US$15495 million, which was 9.72% lower than the estimated US$17163 million. ADB’s US$30.05 million contingency reserve was not used.

The Adani Enterprises unit has received a letter of approval for an NH project in Maharashtra

Adani Road Transport Ltd (ARTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has received LoA for a project involving six laning of Kagal-Satara section of NH-48 (old NH4) in Maharashtra. The project will be executed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana at ₹2,008.47 crores. The construction period for the 67-km long road project is expected to be 2 years from the date of appointment and the concession period will be 18 years.

With this project award, Adani’s road portfolio will have total 14 projects with more than 5,000 lane km with asset value exceeding ₹41,000 crore spread across India.
