दोस्तों, आज हम बात करेंगे अहोई अष्टमी व्रत का महत्त्व और फायदे।

हिंदी पंचांग के अनुसार, प्रत्येक वर्ष कार्तिक मास में कृष्ण पक्ष की अष्टमी को अहोई अष्टमी का व्रत किया जाता है। इस बार अहोई अष्टमी का व्रत 28 अक्टूबर 2021 दिन गुरुवार को रखा जाएगा। यह दिन पुत्रवती माताओं के लिए बहुत ही महत्वपूर्ण होता है। इस दिन माताएं अपनी संतान की लंबी आयु, खुशहाल जीवन, अच्छे स्वास्थ्य और उज्जवल भविष्य की कामना के लिए व्रत करती हैं। इस दिन को अहोई आठें भी कहा जाता है। यह व्रत करवा चौथ के चार दिन बाद और दिवाली के आठ दिन पहले पड़ता है। इस दिन माता अहोई, भगवान शंकर और माता पार्वती की विधि-विधान से पूजा की जाती है। वैसे तो ज्यादातर व्रत में सूर्य या चंद्रमा को अर्घ्य दिया जाता है लेकिन अहोई अष्टमी पर तारों की अर्घ्य देकर व्रत का पारण किया जाता है।
अहोई अष्टमी का महत्व-
यह व्रत संतान की रक्षा हेतु किया जाता है। इस दिन माताएं अपनी संतान के कुशल-मंगल जीवन के लिए निर्जला उपवास करती हैं। मान्यता है कि इस दिन उपवास व पूजन करने से माता अहोई प्रसन्न होती है और संतान को लंबी आयु का वरदान देती हैं। इस व्रत में सेई का पूजन भी किया जाता है। कुछ महिलाएं संतान प्राप्ति की कामना के साथ भी ये व्रत करती हैं।
अहोई अष्टमी 2021 शुभ मुहूर्त- अहोई अष्टमी पूजा का शुभ मुहूर्त 28 अक्टूबर 2021 दिन बुधवार को शाम 05 बजकर 39 मिनट से शाम 06 बजकर 56 मिनट तक है। पूजा का समय कुल मिलाकर 01 घंटा 17 मिनट रहेगा। एवं तारों को देखने का संभावित समय- शाम को 06 बजकर 03 मिनट पर होगा।

अहोई अष्टमी पूजा विधि –
उत्तर भारत के विभिन्न अंचलों में अहोईमाता का स्वरूप वहां की स्थानीय परंपरा के अनुसार बनता है। सम्पन्न घर की महिलाएं चांदी की होई बनवाती हैं। जमीन पर गोबर से लीपकर कलश की स्थापना होती है। व्रत के दिन प्रात: उठकर स्नान करें और पूजा पाठ करके संकल्प करें कि संतान की लम्बी आयु एवं सुखमय जीवन हेतु मैं अहोई माता का व्रत कर रही हूं। अहोई माता मेरे पुत्रों को दीर्घायु, स्वस्थ एवं सुखी रखें। अगर घर में कोई नया मेम्बर आता है, तो उसके नाम का अहोई माता का कैलंडर उस साल लगाना चाहिए।
अहोई माता की पूजा के लिए गेरू से दीवाल पर अहोई माता का चित्र बनायें और साथ ही स्याहु और उसके सात संतानो का चित्र बनायें। उनके सामने अनाज मुख्य रूप से चावल ढीरी (कटोरी), मूली, सिंघाड़े रखते हैं और सुबह दिया रखकर कहानी कही जाती है। कहानी कहते समय जो चावल हाथ में लिए जाते हैं, उन्हें साड़ी/ सूट के दुप्पटे में बाँध लेते हैं।
सुबह पूजा करते समय जि गर (लोटे में पानी और उसके ऊपर करवे में पानी रखते हैं।) यह करवा, करवा चौथ में इस्तेमाल हुआ होना चाहिए। इस करवे का पानी दिवाली के दिन पूरे घर में छिड़का जाता है। संध्या काल में इन चित्रों की पूजा करें। | पके खाने में चौदह पूरी और आठ पूयों का भोग अहोई माता को लगाया जाता है। उस दिन बयाना निकाला जाता है – बायने मैं चौदह पूरी या मठरी या काजू होते हैं।

लोटे का पानी शाम को चावल के साथ तारों को आर्ध किया जाता है। शाम को माता के सामने दिया जलाते हैं और पूजा का सारा सामान (पूरी, मूली, सिंघाड़े, पूए, चावल और पका खाना) पंडित जी या घर के बडो को दिया जाता है। अहोई माता का कैलंडर दिवाली तक लगा रहना चाहिए। अहोई पूजा में एक अन्य विधान यह भी है कि चांदी की अहोई बनाई जाती है जिसे स्याहु कहते हैं।
इस स्याहु की पूजा रोली, अक्षत, दूध व भात से की जाती है। पूजा चाहे आप जिस विधि से करें लेकिन दोनों में ही पूजा के लिए एक कलश में जल भर कर रख लें। पूजा के बाद अहोई माता की कथा सुने और सुनाएं। पूजा के पश्चात सासु मां के पैर छूएं और उनका आशीर्वाद प्राप्त करें। इसके पश्चात व्रती अन्न जल ग्रहण करें।
पूजन के बाद किसी बुजुर्ग महिला को वस्त्र आदि भेंट करके आशीर्वाद लेना चाहिए। आइये अब हम अहोई माता की व्रत कथा को सुनते हैं और माँ अहोई का ध्यान करते हैं।
अहोई अष्टमी व्रत कथा – एक नगर में एक साहूकार रहा करता था, उसके सात लडके थे, सात बहुएँ तथा एक पुत्री थी। दीपावली से पहले कार्तिक बदी अष्टमी को सातों बहुएँ अपनी इकलौती नंद के साथ जंगल में मिट्टी लेने गई। जहाँ से वे मिट्टी खोद रही थी। वही पर स्याऊ–सेहे की मांद थी। मिट्टी खोदते समय ननद के हाथ सेही का बच्चा मर गया। स्याऊ माता बोली– कि अब मैं तेरी कोख बाँधूगी।

तब ननंद अपनी सातों भाभियों से बोली कि तुम में से कोई मेरे बदले अपनी कोख़ बंधा लो सभी भाभियों ने अपनी कोख बंधवाने से इंकार कर दिया परंतु छोटी भाभी सोचने लगी, यदि मैं कोख न बँधाऊगी तो सासू जी नाराज होंगी। ऐसा विचार कर ननंद के बदले छोटी भाभी ने अपनी कोख बंधा ली। उसके बाद जब उसे जो बच्चा होता वह सात दिन बाद मर जाता। एक दिन साहूकार की स्त्री ने पंडित जी को बुलाकर पूछा की, क्या बात है मेरी इस बहु की संतान सातवें दिन क्यों मर जाती है?
तब पंडित जी ने बहू से कहा कि तुम काली गाय की पूजा किया करो। काली गाय स्याऊ माता की भायली है, वह तेरी कोख छोड़े तो तेरा बच्चा जियेगा। इसके बाद से वह बहु प्रातःकाल उठ कर चुपचाप काली गाय के नीचे सफाई आदि कर जाती। एक दिन गौ माता बोली– कि आज कल कौन मेरी सेवा कर रहा है, सो आज देखूंगी। गौमाता खूब तड़के जागी तो क्या देखती है कि साहूकार की के बेटे की बहू उसके नीचे सफाई आदि कर रही है।
गौमाता उससे बोली कि तुझे किस चीज की इच्छा है जो तू मेरी इतनी सेवा कर रही है ? मांग क्या चीज मांगती है? तब साहूकार की बहू बोली की स्याऊ माता तुम्हारी भायली है और उन्होंने मेरी कोख बांध रखी है, उनसे मेरी कोख खुलवा दो। गौमाता ने कहा,– अच्छा। तब गौ माता सात समुंदर पार अपनी भायली के पास उसको लेकर चली। रस्ते में कड़ी धूप थी, इसलिए दोनों एक पेड़ के नीचे बैठ गई। थोड़ी देर में एक साँप आया और उसी पेड़ पर गरुड़ पंखनी के बच्चे थे उनको मारने लगा। तब साहूकार की बहू ने सांप को मार कर ढाल के नीचे दबा दिया और बच्चों को बचा लिया। थोड़ी देर में गरुड़ पंखनी आई तो वहां खून पड़ा देखकर साहूकार की बहू को चोंच मारने लगी।
तब साहूकारनी बोली– कि, मैंने तेरे बच्चे को मारा नहीं है बल्कि साँप तेरे बच्चे को डसने आया था। मैंने तो तेरे बच्चों की रक्षा की है। यह सुनकर गरुड़ पंखनी खुश होकर बोली की मांग, तू क्या मांगती है? वह बोली, सात समुंदर पार स्याऊमाता रहती है। मुझे तू उसके पास पहुंचा दें। तब गरुड़ पंखनी ने दोनों को अपनी पीठ पर बैठा कर स्याऊ माता के पास पहुंचा दिया।

स्याऊ माता उन्हें देखकर बोली की आ बहन बहुत दिनों बाद आई। फिर कहने लगी कि बहन मेरे सिर में जूं पड़ गई है। तब सुरही के कहने पर साहूकार की बहू ने सिलाई से उसकी जुएँ निकाल दी। इस पर स्याऊ माता प्रसन्न होकर बोली कि तेरे सात बेटे और सात बहुएँ हो।
सहुकारनी बोली– कि मेरा तो एक भी बेटा नहीं, सात कहाँ से होंगे ?
स्याऊ माता बोली– वचन दिया वचन से फिरूँ तो धोबी के कुंड पर कंकरी होऊँ।
तब साहूकार की बहू बोली कि माता मेरी कोख तो तुम्हारे पास बन्द पड़ी है ।

यह सुनकर स्याऊ माता बोली तूने तो मुझे ठग लिया, मैं तेरी कोख खोलती तो नहीं परंतु अब खोलनी पड़ेगी। जा, तेरे घर में तेरे घर में तुझे सात बेटे और सात बहुएँ मिलेंगी। तू जा कर उजमान करना। सात अहोई बनाकर सात कड़ाई करना। वह घर लौट कर आई तो देखा सात बेटे और सात बहुएँ बैठी हैं । वह खुश हो गई। उसने सात अहोई बनाई, सात उजमान किये, सात कड़ाई की। दिवाली के दिन जेठानियाँ आपस में कहने लगी कि जल्दी जल्दी पूजा कर लो, कहीं छोटी बहू बच्चों को याद करके रोने न लगे।
थोड़ी देर में उन्होंने अपने बच्चों से कहा–अपनी चाची के घर जाकर देख आओ की वह अभी तक रोई क्यों नहीं?
बच्चों ने देखा और वापस जाकर कहा कि चाची तो कुछ मांड रही है, खूब उजमान हो रहा है। यह सुनते ही जेठानीयाँ दौड़ी-दौड़ी उसके घर गई और जाकर पूछने लगी कि तुमने कोख कैसे छुड़ाई?
वह बोली तुमने तो कोख बंधाई नही मैंने बंधा ली अब स्याऊ माता ने कृपा करके मेरी कोख खोल दी है। स्याऊ माता ने जिस प्रकार उस साहूकार की बहू की कोख खोली उसी प्रकार हमारी भी खोलियो, सबकी खोलियो। कहने वाले की तथा हुंकार भरने वाले तथा परिवार की कोख खोलिए।

इस प्रकार अहोई माता की व्रत कथा समाप्त होती है। अहोई का अर्थ एक यह भी होता है ‘अनहोनी को होनी बनाना. जैसे साहूकार की छोटी बहू ने कर दिखाया था. जिस तरह अहोई माता ने उस साहूकारकी बहु की कोख को खोल दिया, उसी प्रकार इस व्रत को करने वाली सभी नारियों की अभिलाषा पूर्ण करें.
