Miranda House will host an orientation party via online mode on November 20th, and students will also visit the college virtually.

Shri Ram Business School, Indraprastha Women’s College, Gargi College and Ramanujan College will hold an Orientation Day on November 22. The Bhaskaracharya Faculty of Applied Sciences will be held on November 20th. Each department will also hold separate orientation activities for new students. The anti-verbal guidelines stipulate that the person in charge of the institution can appoint a Disciplinary Resource Person (DRP) in each college, dormitory, hall, and department, and must share their contact information with the proctoring office. “Institutions can erect appropriate enclosures/bills to place boards/banners in conspicuous locations on their respective campuses to warn students to prevent or not indulge in verbal abuse… College/Teacher/Departmental Disciplinary Resource Committee (DRC)/Disciplinary Committee, “they said.

They also suggested the establishment of a security team other than DRC/DC, with the help of NCC/NSS student volunteers, to maintain vigilance to avoid student violations and prevent unfortunate incidents. “Place a sealed complaint box in front of the principal’s office, especially in undergraduate colleges with dormitories, to benefit potential abuse victims and enable them to lodge complaints/suggestions with the college authorities.

Every college official, they The entrusted responsibility will investigate these complaints in accordance with university regulations and take the necessary actions promptly,” the guidelines said. The vigilance team and DRC/DC must fully coordinate their actions, because the final action for any disciplinary incident involving any student or student group will be recommended by the DRC/DC, and then the corresponding agency head will initiate disciplinary action, it said.

“Each student should bring his own ID card. The entry agency should strictly control the verification of the ID card carried by the student. In order to implement this kind of standardized entry, security guards and other related personnel may be hired.
