Punjab ADGP SK Asthana removed as Bureau of Investigation head
The Chief of Police of Punjab Province (ADGP) SK Asthana was removed from the post of head of the Bureau of Investigation (BoI) on Saturday and replaced by B Chandra Sekhar.
Asana, who is on sick leave, recently had a relationship with the Punjab provincial government because he refused to book the former Akali minister Bikram Singh Majithia in a drug case. He wrote a letter to the Punjab Police Chief stating that he could not file a lawsuit against Majithia on the grounds of legal issues. The letter was widely shared on social media and embarrassed the Charanjit Singh Channi government. After registering the case under the order of the Chief Minister of Punjab, the cybercrime department is already investigating the leak.

Elenchezian Khanna SSP, Chief of Police Garg Patiala
In a major reorganization under the direction of the Election Committee before the vote in Parliament, the state government transferred six senior superintendents (SSP). The Punjab police officer who served as the district police chief has been replaced by the Indian police service. J Elenchezian is the new Khanna SSP, Sandeep Garg is the new Patiala SSP, replacing Harcharan Singh Bhullar, who will become the additional inspector general (AIG), Intelligence. Charanjit Singh will become the new Moga SSP, replacing SS Mand. Deepak Pareek has been released as Mansa SSP. Mand will be AIG, the Criminal Investigation Bureau.
The government also appointed Dayama Harish Om Parkash as Kapurthala SSP, replacing Harkamalpreet Singh Khakh, who will now become AIG, in charge of counterintelligence. Gaurav Toora has been appointed as the new Batala SSP, replacing Mukhwinder Singh who has been appointed as AIG, NRI Affairs, Amritsar.

Divya Agarwal speaks out about divorce speculations with Apurva Padgaonkar: “My spouse is snoring next to.”
Divya Agarwal, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT, and businesswoman Apurva Padgaonkar got married earlier this year. She has addressed reports about their divorce. Divya Agarwal dispelled the rumours in a note she posted on Instagram Stories.

“I made no noise,” Divya wrote. I spoke nothing, told no stories. 2500 posts were removed by me. However, the media only decided to cover and comment on my marriage. It’s funny what people perceive of me and what they assume. I’ve always taken on challenges that others didn’t think I could handle. And as for what they’re anticipating now, divorce or children, none of it’s occurring (emoji with side eyes).”

In February, Divya and Apurva tied the knot.
February of this year marked the wedding of Divya and Apurva. In Mumbai, the pair wed in a customary Marathi ceremony. They announced their marriage on Instagram shortly after it happened by posting images. Divya and Apurva wore matching bridal trousseaux on their wedding day. Divya chose a lovely purple lehenga with contrasting embroidery and a pink ombre effect. Matching dupatta and multi-tiered diamond and emerald jewels completed her ensemble.
In keeping with Marathi tradition, Divya also donned a traditional chooda with kaleera and both of them wore Mundavalya. In contrast, Apurva accessorised Divya with a complementary purple kurta featuring comparable patterns. In front of their friends and family, Divya and Apurva had a glamorous cocktail reception to kick off their pre-wedding celebrations. In the city, a mehendi ceremony came next.

In 2022, the former Splitsvilla competitor proposed to Apurva. She declared that she would wed him in December 2023. Varun Sood and Divya had a previous relationship, but they announced their split in 2022. Following their appearances on Splitsvilla and Ace Of Space, Divya and Varun began dating.
