Cinema halls shut, mall & shops to remain open till 6: Haryana imposes Covid-19 curbs in 6 more districts
In addition to the existing five districts, the Haryana state government has implemented new restrictions in six other districts to control the surge in Covid-19 cases. Six districts-Karnal, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Yamunanagar, Rohtak and Jhajjar-are now part of Group A or high-risk zones, which also include Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula and Sonipat.
According to an order issued by Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal on Wednesday evening, all cinemas, theaters, multi-hall theaters and entertainment parks in these 11 areas will continue to be closed. Stadiums, stadiums and swimming pools will also be closed, except for those training athletes to participate in national or international sports or organizing such sports events. However, no spectators are allowed to enter the venue. Commercial exhibitions are also banned. Shopping malls and markets have been allowed to operate until 6 pm. However, shops selling essential goods will be open all day.
Government and private offices, except for those dealing with emergency and basic services, have been proposed to operate with 50% staff.
The number of business people in bars and restaurants can reach 50% of their seating capacity.
“Only people who are fully vaccinated are allowed to enter places, including sabzi mandi, food markets, public transportation (bus stops and train stations), parks, religious sites, bars, restaurants, hotels, department stores, ration shops, liquor and Wine shops, shopping malls, shopping centers, cinemas, hats, local markets, gas stations and CNG stations, LPG cylinder collection centers, sugar factories, milk stalls, yogshalas, gyms, fitness centers, all government/board/company offices, private and Government sector banks. The responsibility for ensuring this lies with the owners/management of these institutions,” the Haryana State Disaster Management Authority’s order read.
In other areas, parties of up to 50 people for funerals and up to 100 people for marriage are allowed. Cinemas, restaurants, bars, gyms, spas and clubs have also been allowed to remain open, but with a capacity of 50%.
Statewide schools, colleges, polytechnics, ITI, coaching institutions, libraries and training institutions (government and private), anganwadi centers and nurseries should remain closed.

It is my duty so I am open to do whatever I want.” Then Avinash added that he will also not do the work.
