Malaika Arora reacts to Arjun Kapoor’s post as couple quashes break-up rumours

Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor are going strong together, and the couple articulates that loudly and clearly. The pair became one of the top trends on Twitter after social media reports said the couple had split. Shortly after these reports went viral, however, Arjun quashed them by sharing a photo with Malaika. The actor posted a mirror selfie with his lover and wrote: “Not a place without dark rumors. Stay safe. Stay blessed. Good luck to people. Love you guys.”

It wasn’t long before friends and fans of Bollywood celebrities rushed to the comment section to praise the couple. Malaika also reacted to Arjun’s post in the most elegant way possible. Keeping it simple, the style icon puts a heart emoji in the comment box, removing all doubts. Others who reacted to the post included actress Tara Sutaria. “Yes! You guys,” she wrote. Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who will share screen space with Arjun in the upcoming film Lady Killer, also dropped her heart and embraced the emoji. Amrita Arora, Sophie Choudry, Athiya Shetty, Tahira Kashyap and Amy Jackson were the others who reacted to Arjun’s post. In response to the breakup rumors, a BollywoodLife report said: “It has been more than six days and Malaika Arora has not walked out of her home. She has been completely isolated. She is said to be very sad and has decided to stay away from the world for a while. Although Arjun Kapoor these Tian has not visited her once. In fact, Arjun was found having dinner at his sister Rhea Kapoor’s house three days ago. Rhea’s house is very close to Malaika’s house.” Nevertheless, he did not go to see her after dinner. Malaika usually attends these family dinners with Arjun, but this time she was not with him. “

On the job front, the producers of Arjun Kapoor’s upcoming film “The Lady Killer” announced that Bhumi Pednekar has joined as the female lead. Directed by Ajay Bahl (‘B.A. Pass’, 2012) and produced by T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar and Shaailesh R. Singh, the film tells the story of a small-town playboy who falls in love with a self-destructive beauty.

Zakir Khan’s comedy-shayari programme will take Kapil Sharma’s place on TV.

After The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television for the last year, the comedian moved to streaming services in 2024 with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Actor Huma Qureshi was a permanent visitor on the TV show Madness Machayenge-India Ko Hassayenge, which briefly filled the hole created by the departure of the former show. But it didn’t quite click with the public, and according to recent rumours, the channel has added comedian Zakir Khan to help fill the void with a new programme.

Comedy and shayari will be mixed together in Zakir Khan’s presentation.

We now know some exclusive information about the show, such as its schedule and format. According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, “Zakir’s show will feature a trademark Zakir blend of humour and shayari. With this programme, the comedian hopes to reach a larger audience. He has already developed a following of people who identify with his shayarana side. Madness Machayenge is now airing and is most likely coming to an end. Zakir’s television programme is scheduled to premiere in August. Bollywood visitors will appear on the broadcast in addition to Zakir’s shayari and comedy, much like it used to happen on Kapil’s show.” This is Khan’s second television appearance following his work on the fifth season of The As a mentor in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2017. In addition, he hosted the comedic non-fiction programme Farzi Mushaira on OTT, combining humour and shayari with well-known guests.

Recently, filming for Kapil’s OTT show came to an end, and there were rumours that this was because of the show’s poor viewership. The cast of Heeramandi, American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, were disclosed in a video that the crew published to refute the rumours. Regarding Madness Machayenge, the television programme that took Kapil’s position, director Karan Johar blasted it for his repulsive impersonation on the show. The full guest list for Zakir’s programme has not yet been announced.
