Oppo Reno 7 Series to Feature Shooting Star Design, Sport Company’s Thinnest Bezels Among Reno Phones
The Oppo Reno 7 series will debut on February 4, bringing the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G smartphones to Indian customers. The company shared details of the smartphone design day ahead of the smartphone’s launch in the country. These smartphones feature a gradient back finish and a familiar flat-edged frame, similar to recent iPhone models. The Oppo Reno 7 series is said to consist of three smartphones. Oppo Reno 7 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC, while Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max and Dimensity 900 SoC respectively.
Oppo has revealed details of the smartphone’s design ahead of the launch of the Oppo Reno 7 series in the country. The company revealed that the upcoming Reno 7 series will feature an aircraft-grade Meteor design with 1.2 million microlines and an engraving depth of 8 microns. The smartphone will also feature the company’s Orbit breathing light around the rear camera module, which will be launched with the Reno 7 series in November 2021.
According to Oppo, the upcoming Reno 7 series will be the slimmest Reno series ever. The smartphones will feature 1.5mm bezels, the thinnest on the company’s Reno smartphone. The upcoming Oppo Reno 7 series on February 4 may include three smartphones – Oppo Reno 7 5G, Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 7 SE 5G. The company has yet to reveal the pricing of the smartphone as well as RAM and storage variants.
Launched in China in November 2021, the Oppo Reno 7 5G features an octa-core Snapdragon 778G SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 built-in storage. The smartphone features a 6.43-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera, as well as a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The Oppo Reno 7 5G is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 60W flash charging.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G features an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC, along with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 built-in storage. It has a 6.55-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Oppo Reno 7 comes with a 50-megapixel triple-camera setup, along with a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front. According to the company, the Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G comes with a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery that supports 65W flash charging.

SpiceJet announces 8 new flights to connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad
SpiceJet expands its domestic network with 8 new flights that will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad and also link Ahmedabad with Pune.
SpiceJet is further expanding its domestic network with the launch of eight new flights starting November 15.
In the statement released on Wednesday, the airline announced that these new routes will connect Jaipur with Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad, while also linking Ahmedabad with Pune. This expansion follows the recent launch of 32 new flights in October 2024, including two international flights connecting Delhi with Phuket.
Last month, SpiceJet also commenced UDAN flights linking Shivamogga in Karnataka with Chennai and Hyderabad, and introduced double daily flights between Chennai and Kochi, enhancing connectivity across key regional and metropolitan cities.
“We are excited to announce the launch of new flights from Jaipur to Varanasi, Amritsar, and Ahmedabad, as well as from Ahmedabad to Pune, providing our passengers with greater flexibility and convenience,” SpiceJet Chief Business Officer Debojo Maharshi said.
“These new flights reflect our commitment to supporting passenger demand across tier-II cities and beyond. With our expanded winter schedule, including international and UDAN routes, we aim to provide our customers with greater convenience, affordability, and seamless travel experiences,” Maharshi added.
SpiceJet will deploy its 78-seater Q400 aircraft in these sectors. Bookings for the new flights are now open and tickets are available at the website of the airline, SpiceJet’s mobile app and through online travel portals and travel agents.
On Monday, the airline received a significant boost, with Acuite Ratings & Research Limited upgrading its long-term rating by four notches to ‘B ‘ and its short-term rating to A4. The rating agency has also assigned a ‘Stable’ outlook to the airline.
