Priyanka to star opposite MCU fame Anthony Mackie in her next Hollywood film
Priyanka Chopra, who just landed her role in the Hollywood film “The Matrix Resurrection,” appears to have landed another coveted project. The actor will now star alongside Anthony Mackie in Kevin Sullivan’s action film The End.
Anthony Mackie is best known for playing Sam Wilson or Falcon in several Marvel films, including Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. The essence of the film will reportedly be compared to the 1994 action comedy True Lies directed by James Cameron.
The Deadline for the report’s update also details a possible storyline: “A hitman who wants to quit the assassin business tells her ‘business’ partner that she will also end their personal relationship. But she begins to realize that she doesn’t want to end their relationship In order to survive the breakup – and their last job together – they had to spend their last night together.” No details on Priyanka’s or Anthony’s roles have been shared.
Priyanka recently finished filming the Russo Brothers’ Amazonian thriller series Citadel. Also in her lineup is the Jim Strouse-directed romantic comedy Text You. She will also be working on a film with Amazon Studios about the life of Ma Anand Sheela, a former assistant to the late teacher Osho Rajneesh. In Bollywood, the actor will star alongside Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt in Farhan Akhtar’s director Jee Le Zaraa.
Less than two weeks ago, Priyanka and Nick surprised the world by announcing the birth of their first child through surrogacy. They wrote on social media: “We are very pleased to confirm that we have welcomed a baby through surrogacy. We respectfully ask for privacy as we focus on our family during these special times. Thank you so much.”
The actor, who worked most of last year, said in a recent interview that she will now prioritize things based on their importance in her life. Speaking of the pandemic, she told Harper’s Bazaar, “As a person, it changed me because I’m sure it changed most of us. I don’t know if I can do that chaotic pace and chaotic again. The world is over. I want to prioritize what’s important.”

After The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television for the last year, the comedian moved to streaming services in 2024 with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Actor Huma Qureshi was a permanent visitor on the TV show Madness Machayenge-India Ko Hassayenge, which briefly filled the hole created by the departure of the former show. But it didn’t quite click with the public, and according to recent rumours, the channel has added comedian Zakir Khan to help fill the void with a new programme.
Comedy and shayari will be mixed together in Zakir Khan’s presentation.
We now know some exclusive information about the show, such as its schedule and format. According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, “Zakir’s show will feature a trademark Zakir blend of humour and shayari. With this programme, the comedian hopes to reach a larger audience. He has already developed a following of people who identify with his shayarana side. Madness Machayenge is now airing and is most likely coming to an end. Zakir’s television programme is scheduled to premiere in August. Bollywood visitors will appear on the broadcast in addition to Zakir’s shayari and comedy, much like it used to happen on Kapil’s show.” This is Khan’s second television appearance following his work on the fifth season of The As a mentor in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2017. In addition, he hosted the comedic non-fiction programme Farzi Mushaira on OTT, combining humour and shayari with well-known guests.
Recently, filming for Kapil’s OTT show came to an end, and there were rumours that this was because of the show’s poor viewership. The cast of Heeramandi, American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, were disclosed in a video that the crew published to refute the rumours. Regarding Madness Machayenge, the television programme that took Kapil’s position, director Karan Johar blasted it for his repulsive impersonation on the show. The full guest list for Zakir’s programme has not yet been announced.
