PM Modi said that the mechanism of annual summit will help prepare a structural system for regular review of our relations with Australia. He was speaking at an open session of the India-Australia virtual summit. PM Modi expressed delight over setting up a mechanism for an annual summit between India and Australia.

The PM also thanked the Australian Prime Minister, Mr Scott Morrison, for returning as many as 29 antiquities, primarily sculptures and paintings executed in a variety of materials. The artefacts belong to six broad categories on the themes of ‘Shiva and his disciples’, ‘Worshipping Shakti’, ‘Lord Vishnu and his forms’.

Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison spoke about the threat of increasing change in the Indo-Pacific region in the wake of Russia’s aggression in Ukraine. In an apparent reference to China’s aggressive posture in the region, he said: “Russia’s unlawful invasion of Ukraine” was also a part of the Quad leaders’ discussions. The PM, however, only talked about the shared values and remarkable progress made by the two countries in various sectors.

After going missing on April 22 of this year, actor Gurucharan Singh made his way back home on Friday. The Delhi Police were cited in an India Today article stating that Gurucharan Singh “was on a religious journey.” For his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in Taarak Mehta ka Ulta Chashma, Gurucharan Singh is widely renowned.

What Gurucharan revealed to the police after coming back home

According to the report, Gurucharan Singh informed the police officers that he was on a religious trip and had left his worldly life behind during the interview. The actor has visited gurudwaras in a number of towns recently, including Amritsar and Ludhiana. But later on, he felt he ought to go back home.
