As she masters various yoga asanas, Kareena Kapoor believes that “the world is a yoga mat.”
Kareena Kapoor Khan, an actress, is a fitness fanatic. You’ll agree after seeing her countless posts about yoga sessions with celebrity trainer Anshuka Parwani. Furthermore, the actress is well-known for praising yoga for her numerous health achievements. She’s tried a variety of workouts over the years, including Pilates and boxing, but yoga has remained a constant. She even did this ancient form of exercise while she was pregnant. So it came as no surprise when Kareena said in a recent photoshoot that “the world is a yoga mat” for her.
Kareena posted photos of herself doing various yoga asanas for an advertisement photoshoot on her Instagram page on Friday. “The world is a yoga mat #YogaAnywhereEverywhere,” she wrote in the caption. Kareena did the Vrikshasana, or Tree Pose, in the first photo, wearing a printed coral pink sleeveless cropped top and a high-waisted workout tight. Another photo shows the actor Laal Singh Chadha doing Sukhasana, or the simple cross-legged sitting pose. She did the pose in a black strappy sports bra and high-rise yoga pants.
Benefits of Vrikshasana, or Tree Pose:
Vrikshasana, also known as Tree Pose, promotes body balance, tones leg muscles, strengthens the hip and pelvic region, improves posture, and improves neuromuscular coordination. It also boosts endurance and could help people with sciatica (nerve pain in the leg).
Sukhasana’s Advantages:
Sukhasana has a calming effect on the mind and body, which aids in stress and anxiety reduction. It strengthens back muscles, improves overall body posture, and lengthens the spine and back muscles, improving focus and making you more attentive.
Meanwhile, Kareena will star alongside Aamir Khan in the upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha. She’ll also make her Netflix debut in a film directed by filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh.

Anushka Sharma was in full cheer mode as she rooted for her husband, Virat Kohli, and Team India during the India vs Australia Test match in Perth on Saturday. The actor was spotted enthusiastically cheering him on from the stands, and fans were totally loving her vibe. The actor was spotted in the stands during the ongoing Test match between India and Australia at Optus Stadium, Perth. Anushka kept her look simple in a white T-shirt teamed with denims. Several photos and videos from the stadium featuring the actor have surfaced on social media.
In one clip, she is clapping for the team, while in one she is standing with a plate in her hand. She was also spotted celebrating along with Sanjana Ganesan when Harshit Rana took Virat Kohli’s advice to dismiss Mitchell Starc.
Before the opening test got underway, Anushka and Virat along with their kids were spotted spending time in Perth. In the photo, Virat and Anushka are seen sipping coffee with their daughter, Vamika, sitting in a stroller.

Fans were thrilled to see Anushka come out to support her husband and took to social media to express their admiration for the couple. “She is the great support of Kohli. Great couple,” wrote one user, with another sharing, “Queen supporting the king”.
“Bhabhi ji in the house,” exclaimed one user, with another mentioning, “Bhabhi ji arrived”. “Kohli’s ladyluck,” read one comment. One user wrote, “Anushka Supporting her charm”. “Queen of cricket,” gushed one user.

Anushka and Virat welcomed their elder daughter, Vamika, on January 11, 2021. They once again became parents to their younger son, Akaay, on February 15, 2024. They have not shown either of their kids’ faces to the world.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli divide their time between London and Mumbai as they have houses in both cities. Anushka has been away from films since her last release, Zero, in 2018. She finished Chakda Xpress, the biopic of Jhulan Goswami, in 2022. However, the film is yet to get a release date. Chakda Xpress is slated to be released on Netflix.
