Bobby Deol reprises his role as the Baba with a God complex in Aashram 3
On Friday, the third season trailer for the popular web series Aashram was released. Bobby Deol plays a self-proclaimed godman who is a charlatan who tries to hide his illicit activities under the guise of a popular cult in the Prakash Jha show. After two successful seasons, the series is set to return for a third on the streaming platform MX Player.
Parminder (Aaditi Pohankar) vows to kill the Baba and shoots him before realising it’s all a dream in the trailer. Baba Nirala (Bobby) then becomes more assertive, declaring that his word is law and that he is no longer afraid. There is talk of a’menu card’ for the cabinet of ministers, with seats costing 35 crores. Then we see Esha Gupta, who is joining the cast this season for the first time. She is seen dancing for the Baba as one of his disciples in a brief glimpse. There are hints, however, that there is more to her story.
Nirala, drunk on power, proclaims himself God in order to expand his empire internationally. Friday Bhopa (Chandan Roy Sanyal), on the other hand, is sceptical of the idea. After that, we see Baba and his aashram dealing with political opposition to their expansion. Darshan Kumaar’s cop returns, discovering Parminder’s plot to kill the self-proclaimed godman, and things come to a head.
Fans expressed their delight that their long wait had paid off. “Finally after a long wait, we get to see ashram season 3,” one fan said of the trailer. Many people praised Bobby Deol’s portrayal of the main character. One comment read, “This series just clearly shows that Bobby is never a bad actor; all he needed was a good script.” Esha’s introduction to the show was also well received by many. “Esha Gupta is the biggest addition in the Aashram series,” one fan said.
“Making movies is my passion, and I’ve had the good fortune to work with equally passionate actors and technicians who have shown faith in the stories I’ve wanted to share on the screen!” director Prakash Jha said of the series. We shared the same passion, emotion, and thrill with Aashram. I’m looking forward to seeing how the audience reacts to the third season of Aashram.”
“I am thrilled to work with Prakash Jha and MX Player once again,” said the lead actor Bobby Deol. Prakashji’s Aashram story convinced me to sign it, and it will always be a treasured project. The character evolves with each season, and the shades it takes on in Season 3 will keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Aashram is a powerful and captivating series that has provided me with a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”
The series stars Anupriya Goenka, Adhyayan Suman, and Tridha Choudhury and is directed by Prakash Jha. The Aashram team had a difficult time filming the third season because the show’s sets were vandalised in Bhopal. Bajrang Dal activists sprayed ink on Prakash Jha, accusing the show of “defaming Hindus.” MX Player will begin streaming the third season on June 3.

Sonakshi takes saiyyan Zaheer to bhaiya Kapil Sharma’s show; Shatrughan Sinha joins them as ‘bhola bhala aadmi’
This weekend, Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal will grace Kapil Sharma’s show with Shatrughan Sinha and Poonam Sinha for a family special episode
Back in May this year, Sonakshi Sinha made an appearance on Kapil Sharma’s comedy show to promote her web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The actor was joined by her co-stars Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh and Sharmin Segal. During this episode, Kapil told Sonakshi that her fellow Bollywood divas Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani are now married. Hearing this, Sonakshi claimed that Kapil is rubbing salt in her wounds because he knows how eager she is to get married. Sonkashi’s wish was granted a month later when she tied the knot with Zaheer Iqbal. Well, she is now returning to Kapil’s show, this time with her husband.
In the trailer of the upcoming episode, Sonakshi introduces Zaheer to Kapil in a hilarious way. She claims that anyone who wants to get married should come to Kapil’s show and call him ‘bhaiya’. Gesturing at Zaheer, Sonakshi then tells Kapil, “Bhaiya, meet my saiyyan.” Well, things get even more fun when Sonakshi’s superstar father Shatrughan Sinha joins them along with her mother Poonam Sinha. This is the first time the entire Sinha family and their new son-in-law have appeared together on national television. At the end of this trailer, Shatrughan describes himself as ‘bhola bhala, shareef aadmi’. But Poonam leaves everyone in splits when she replies, “Mujhse poocho.”
In another fun bit, Shatrughan reveals how Dharmendra once told him to always be ‘a one woman man, at a time’. Well, fans can’t keep calm and are now expressing their excitement in the comment section below. For instance, one social media user gushed, “So happy they’re gonna be on the show! ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” whereas another Sonakshi-Zaheer fan claimed, “This episode is a slap to people who were saying that Shatrughan was not happy with Sonakshi and Zaheer’s marriage.”
