She’ll also appear in Rajinikanth’s upcoming Thalaivar 169. She did, however, imply that she will continue to appear in a limited number of projects. “She remarked,” she explained “My family and child remain my top priorities. I bravely ventured out to finish Mani sir’s Ponniyin Selvan, but my priorities remain my family and Aaradhya.”

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was most recently seen in the 2018 film Fanney Khan, alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkummarl Rao. Ponniyin Selven: I, her next film, will be released in theatres on September 30. The historical drama is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 Tamil novel of the same name, which tells the narrative of Arulmozhivarman, one of the most powerful monarchs in the south who later became Rajaraja Chola I, the great Chola emperor.
