Malaika Arora remembers her vehicle accident and claims that yoga will significantly improve both her emotional and physical health

Malaika Arora has spoken candidly about her accident from earlier this year, claiming that her body experienced significant shock and required time to heal. In a recent interview with India Today, the actress shared that she wanted to practise yoga following her injury because she felt it would significantly improve her “mental and physical health.” This was in honour of International Yoga Day.

The 48-year-old actress recalled her difficult time and stated, “Without making light of the circumstance, the one thing I kept asking my doctor was when I could go back to my yoga practise. I was unable to accomplish it right away.

I could only begin with fundamental yoga at first. I started asking my doctor about yoga since I believed it would significantly improve both my physical and mental health. I was in tears the day my trainer performed a class in my house.

The actress continued, “After the accident, my body went through a lot of shock and required time to heal. I was very thrilled when I could complete my yoga class in 45 to 60 minutes. We have now had two and a half months since the accident, and I am thrilled to be returning to my practise. I appreciate yoga.

Malaika was travelling from Pune to Mumbai on April 2 when her Range Rover was involved in a three-vehicle collision on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway in Khopoli, Maharashtra. She was taken to a hospital for treatment after suffering minor injuries. The Apollo hospital in Navi Mumbai was then summoned to treat the actress. After a day, she was released from the hospital, and her actor boyfriend Arjun Kapoor drove her home.

In numerous Indian reality programmes, Malaika Arora has appeared as a judge. She attends yoga courses for exercise and frequently gets into trouble afterward. The actress has been dominating the news lately because of her relationship with Arjun Kapoor. According to sources, the couple will also appear on the upcoming season of the contentious discussion show “Koffee With Karan,” hosted by Karan Johar, which will air later this year.
