Sara Ali Khan: When My Mother and Brother Appreciate My Job, I Feel Successful Mentally

Mumbai, July 10, 2023: Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, known for her exceptional performances in films, recently opened up about her definition of success and how the appreciation from her mother, Amrita Singh, and brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan, plays a significant role in her mental well-being. The talented actress shared her thoughts during an interview, shedding light on the importance of familial support in her journey as an actor.

For Sara Ali Khan, success goes beyond box office numbers and critical acclaim. The young actress believes that true success lies in the approval and acknowledgment of her loved ones. When her mother and brother appreciate her work, she feels a sense of accomplishment that transcends external achievements.

“In this industry, there’s often a lot of focus on external markers of success, like awards and commercial success. While those are important, for me, success is also deeply rooted in the emotional connections I share with my family,” Sara Ali Khan expressed during the interview.

She further elaborated, “When my mother and brother appreciate my job and acknowledge the efforts I put into my craft, it gives me a sense of mental satisfaction that cannot be measured by any external factors. Their validation means the world to me.”

Zakir Khan’s comedy-shayari programme will take Kapil Sharma’s place on TV.

After The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television for the last year, the comedian moved to streaming services in 2024 with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Actor Huma Qureshi was a permanent visitor on the TV show Madness Machayenge-India Ko Hassayenge, which briefly filled the hole created by the departure of the former show. But it didn’t quite click with the public, and according to recent rumours, the channel has added comedian Zakir Khan to help fill the void with a new programme.

Comedy and shayari will be mixed together in Zakir Khan’s presentation.

We now know some exclusive information about the show, such as its schedule and format. According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, “Zakir’s show will feature a trademark Zakir blend of humour and shayari. With this programme, the comedian hopes to reach a larger audience. He has already developed a following of people who identify with his shayarana side. Madness Machayenge is now airing and is most likely coming to an end. Zakir’s television programme is scheduled to premiere in August. Bollywood visitors will appear on the broadcast in addition to Zakir’s shayari and comedy, much like it used to happen on Kapil’s show.” This is Khan’s second television appearance following his work on the fifth season of The As a mentor in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2017. In addition, he hosted the comedic non-fiction programme Farzi Mushaira on OTT, combining humour and shayari with well-known guests.

Recently, filming for Kapil’s OTT show came to an end, and there were rumours that this was because of the show’s poor viewership. The cast of Heeramandi, American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, were disclosed in a video that the crew published to refute the rumours. Regarding Madness Machayenge, the television programme that took Kapil’s position, director Karan Johar blasted it for his repulsive impersonation on the show. The full guest list for Zakir’s programme has not yet been announced.
