Government Will Spend Rs 100 Lakh Crore On Modern Infrastructure: PM Modi
On the occasion of Independence Day from the ramparts of the Red Fort, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that now we will bring an economy of 5 trillion dollars. We have to do this difficult work. High marks are kept but not in the air. We have to achieve this in the coming 5 years.
Addressing the country on the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the government will spend 100 lakh crores on modern infrastructure. Citizen and business facilities will be developed with this.
PM Modi said, ‘Earlier people used to be happy to have a railway station near village-town, now people ask when will Vande come to India? Earlier people used to demand a paved road and now demand a 4 and 6 lane road. Earlier, I was satisfied with the arrival of mobiles, now we talk about data speed.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that earlier people used to weigh the government with the work done for the class, area, who used to think when, where, how much they got. Now we will bring a 5 trillion dollar economy. We have to do this difficult work. High marks are kept but not in the air. We have to achieve this in the coming 5 years.
The need to remove the disease of corruption
During this time, PM Modi said that we are moving towards celebrating 75 years of independence. He said that a change in the system is necessary and it should be free from corruption. We were discharging the obstacles that were being created in our mission and said that your path is different. Brother-nepotism in the country is like a termite, it is necessary to remove this disease.
He said that now there is a need for the governments to come out of the lives of the people gradually and the people can advance themselves with freedom. No one should be under pressure from the government, but in times of trouble, the government should always stand with the people. Our government has abolished a law every day to reduce the burden on the people. In 10 weeks of this government, 60 laws have been abolished.

The Adani Enterprises unit has received a letter of approval for an NH project in Maharashtra
Adani Road Transport Ltd (ARTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, has received LoA for a project involving six laning of Kagal-Satara section of NH-48 (old NH4) in Maharashtra. The project will be executed under the Bharatmala Pariyojana at ₹2,008.47 crores. The construction period for the 67-km long road project is expected to be 2 years from the date of appointment and the concession period will be 18 years.
With this project award, Adani’s road portfolio will have total 14 projects with more than 5,000 lane km with asset value exceeding ₹41,000 crore spread across India.
