Aadhaar has made a major difference in lives of Indians: Vaishnaw
Ashwini Vaishnaw, United Electronics and Information Technology Department, stated that the introduction of Aadhaar has had a significant impact on the lives of Indians.
After the opening on Tuesday, he delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the three-day seminar entitled “Aadhaar 2.0-Leading the Next Era of Digital Identity and Smart Governance”. Vaishnaw said that Aadhaar especially had an impact on the people at the bottom of the pyramid. .
Information Technology Minister Ajay Prakash Sawhney said that Aadhaar also gives people an identity they lacked before. He added that it helps to create digital identities rather than physical identities. “Aadhaar has been used for different services to transfer financial inclusion, broadband and telecommunications services, and direct benefits to citizens’ bank accounts in a transparent manner.” India’s Unique Identification Authority stated that the seminar will focus on Aadhaar’s strategic strengthening And simplify delivery, and provide opportunities to focus on rebuilding more inclusive systems, making society more resilient.
