Actor Harshvarrdhan Kapoor’s journey is like no other

From the start, actor Harshvardhan Kapoor has defied expectations. Mirzya (2016), directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, set the tone for his career, indicating that he would never be the stereotypical star kid. Since then, the journey has been filled with content-driven character decisions.

With cult hits like Bhavesh Joshi Superhero (2018) and Spotlight, a Vasan Bala directorial from the Netflix anthology Ray, he has a unique original filmography. Who can forget his scene-stealing appearance in Vikramaditya Motwane’s AK vs AK?

Thar has finally arrived, and many critics have praised it. Even those who haven’t fully embraced the neo-western action thriller have praised its ambitious visual landscape and production design, as well as the film’s subtle and nuanced performances.

At such a young age, he makes his debut as a producer, which speaks volumes about his commercial sensibilities. The film has been lavishly produced, and Thar has undoubtedly added another feather to Harshvarrdhan’s cap. We’re excited to see what this performer-turned-producer has in store for us next.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
