After wrapping the Unchai shoot in Delhi, Anupam Kher pays a surprise visit to his mother
Anupam Kher decided to surprise his mother, Dulari Kher, and visited her soon after he wrapped the Delhi schedule of his new film Uunchai. The video received appreciation from the actor’s fans online. However, his mom told him that he should have informed her about the arrival.
Anupam shared a video of his visit on Instagram. Dulari was surprised to see her son and hugged him. She also stopped to answer him whether she was happy. Anupam said, “I was missing you so I thought I should meet you today”.
Dulari walked around to switch on the fan but Anupam reminded her that is was already switched on. She then asked him if he wanted some water, and he told her that he will help himself, and she must go back to her prayers. He said: “Maa ke jazbaat (Such are a mom’s feelings)”.
Anupam was filming the house as his mom started worshipping. When she realised he was still shooting the video, she gestured him to stop and said it was not a good thing. When he did not stop, she directed him to focus on the deities and her temple instead of her.
He wrote, Reached Mumbai after a long schedule of #Uunchai in Delhi. Decided to surprise Mom. She was thrilled, happy, emotional and her heartbeats went faster. Fans commented about their bond and thanked the actor for including them in his special moments.
Uunchai stars Amitabh Bachchan, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, and Boman Irani and is directed by Sooraj Barjatya.

The Telugu film Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, has collected an estimated ₹5.75 crore nett in India on its first day of box office collection, marking an impressive opening day for the film.
Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
About Family Star
Parasuram Petla’s Family Star marks Vijay and Mrunal’s first collaboration, featuring a cast including Abhinaya, Vasuki, Rohini Hattangadi, Ravi Babu, and Divyansha Kaushik’s special appearance.
Govardhan Rao, the youngest brother of Vijay, manages his family’s finances while being cautious. However, when Mrunal’s Indu rents a part of his home, his life changes.
