Alia Bhatt on Kangana Ranaut’s ‘papa ki pari’ comment, her claim Gangubai Kathiawadi will bomb: ‘Lord Krishna said

Actress Alia Bhatt avoided commenting on Kangana Ranaut’s repeated attacks on her, which intensified in the days leading up to Gangubai Kathiawadi’s release. But recently she broke the silence by citing Bhagavad-gita.

“Lord Krishna said in Gita that inaction becomes action. I will say so,” she said at a news conference for Gangubai Kathiawadi in Calcutta, according to Zoom. Alia’s response came after Kangana called Alia “papa ki pari” in an unprovoked attack and predicted Gangubai Kathiawadi would lose Rs 200 crore at the box office.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and featuring a cameo starring Ajay Devgn, the film is based on a chapter from Hussain Zaidi’s book Queen of the Mumbai Mafia. It’s set to hit theaters on Friday.

Kangana first attacked Alia a few years ago, claiming that when Kangana needed Bollywood mogul to release a movie about her on public platforms, Alia failed to reciprocate. She called Alia a puppet created by filmmaker Karan Johar, called her a member of the “nepo-gang” and called her a “mediocre” actress. She also commented on alias boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor.

In a series of Instagram Stories she shared last week, Kangana wrote: “200 cr will be burnt to ashes at the box office this Friday…for dad (movie mafia dad) ki pari (like to keep UK passport) because dad wants to prove that romcom bimbo can act…the biggest downside of movies is casting mistakes…yes nahi sudhrenge (these guys won’t change) no wonder the screen is going south, hollywood movies…bollywood is doomed To destroy, jab tak Filmmafia is alive.”

She continued, “The father of the Bollywood mafia who single-handedly ruined the work culture of the film industry, emotionally manipulated many great directors, and forced his product to achieve mediocre cinematic brilliance, this version will soon be Another example emerges.” People need to stop pleasing him, and in this Friday’s release, even the greatest heroes and greatest directors are new victims of his manipulation. “

Kangana’s last work, Thalaivii, was a box-office bomber and received mixed reviews. This week, she’s making her reality TV debut as the host of AltBalaji’s Lock Upp.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
