Amit Shah to inaugurate Srinagar-Sharjah international flight today
On Saturday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the first direct international flight between Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar and Sharjah, UAE on the first day of his three-day visit to Union territory. This is his first visit to the territory of the Union since the abolition of Article 370 in August 2019.
The Shah will chair a security review meeting in Srinagar and will interact with members of the Jammu and Kashmir Youth Club on Saturday. Before the Minister of the Interior visited the Union territory, Srinagar had imposed several traffic restrictions, including strict security checks for those driving two-wheelers.
In addition, a total of 50 Central Reserve Police Forces (CRPF) have been deployed to Jammu and Kashmir for security purposes. Recently, after non-locals in Jammu and Kashmir were killed, about 700 people were detained in Union territory. Some of them were detained under the strict Public Safety Act (PSA), police officials notified.
At the same time, in accordance with the Public Safety Act of 1978, a total of 26 detainees were transferred from Jammu and Kashmir to Agra Central Prison. The order was issued before the Shah began a three-day visit to federal territory on Saturday.

Kangana Ranaut has denied speculations about joining politics solely due to the box office failure of her films.
Kangana Ranaut, the BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Mandi for the 2024 elections, expressed gratitude towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her political entrance. In an interview with Times Now, she questioned whether she joined politics due to her movies’ poor box office performance, comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous unsuccessful films.

Kangana responded to a question about her career, stating that she has never had a flop. She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.
No stars from OTT?
The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT. However, the author expresses a desire to involve themselves more with the real world, rather than being consumed by the arts, stating that they are not satisfied with the current status quo.
