Arjun Kapoor recalls being a ‘terrible assistant’ on Kal Ho Naa Ho: ‘I used to sleep off on set’

Arjun Kapoor has successfully created a name for himself in the industry today. Like many others, he too started as an assistant to the director on sets of many films.

However, did you know that he would literally sleep off on the sets of ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’? Yes, you read that right! In a recent interaction, Arjun said that he was a horrible assistant when he started out.

Arjun added that he used to do things that could be done in 15 minutes over four hours. However, he also stated that he was in love with the process of filmmaking. He realised that he wanted to be part of the films in some capacity or the other.

On the work front, Arjun was last seen in ‘Sardar Ka Grandson’ which also starred Neena Gupta and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. The movie was released on an OTT platform and received mixed reviews from the audience and the critics alike. Next, he will be seen playing a ghostbuster in ‘Bhoot Police’. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam in lead roles. The film is set for an OTT release. Apart from this, Arjun has also been roped in for Mohit Suri’s ‘Ek Villain Returns’. The movie will also star John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria in lead roles.
