Deepika, Siddhant, Ananya starrer Gehraiyaan postponed, to release on Feb 11 now
Film producer Karan Johar announced on Wednesday that the release date of Gehraiyaan has been changed from January 25 to February 11. The first appearance of the Amazon Prime movie was released last month.
Karan shared the movie poster and announced the news on Instagram. He wrote: “We can see the coast, and until then we will not sneak into your love! #GehraiyaanOnPrime will be released on February 11.” This highly anticipated film is produced by actor Deepika Padukone, Ananya Pandey, Sidhant Chaturvedi and Dhairya Karwa play the leading roles. Gehraiyaan also played the key roles of Naseeruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. The film is directed by Shakun Batra and supported by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios.
Last month, Deepika shared a few stills from the film’s production process, with the accompanying text saying: “Yes… wait a while. But as the saying goes… Sometimes, the longer the waiting time, when it finally arrives, The more you are grateful! Hope it is the same here. I take this opportunity to be part of what I think is truly magical. With the love and infinite gratitude in my heart, I can’t wait to share the labor of our love with you.” Speaking of this Shakun said: “For me, Gehraiyaan is more than just a movie.
It is a journey into complex interpersonal relationships. It is a mirror of modern adult relationships, how we cross the labyrinth of feelings and emotions, and How every step we make and every decision affects our lives and the lives of those around us. I am very happy to be with the incredible team and Dharma Productions, talented actors and staff, and now Amazon Prime Video. On this journey. I believe the audience will resonate with this movie.”

After The Kapil Sharma Show aired on television for the last year, the comedian moved to streaming services in 2024 with The Great Indian Kapil Show. Actor Huma Qureshi was a permanent visitor on the TV show Madness Machayenge-India Ko Hassayenge, which briefly filled the hole created by the departure of the former show. But it didn’t quite click with the public, and according to recent rumours, the channel has added comedian Zakir Khan to help fill the void with a new programme.
Comedy and shayari will be mixed together in Zakir Khan’s presentation.
We now know some exclusive information about the show, such as its schedule and format. According to a source with direct knowledge of the situation, “Zakir’s show will feature a trademark Zakir blend of humour and shayari. With this programme, the comedian hopes to reach a larger audience. He has already developed a following of people who identify with his shayarana side. Madness Machayenge is now airing and is most likely coming to an end. Zakir’s television programme is scheduled to premiere in August. Bollywood visitors will appear on the broadcast in addition to Zakir’s shayari and comedy, much like it used to happen on Kapil’s show.” This is Khan’s second television appearance following his work on the fifth season of The As a mentor in the Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2017. In addition, he hosted the comedic non-fiction programme Farzi Mushaira on OTT, combining humour and shayari with well-known guests.
Recently, filming for Kapil’s OTT show came to an end, and there were rumours that this was because of the show’s poor viewership. The cast of Heeramandi, American singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, and actors Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, among others, were disclosed in a video that the crew published to refute the rumours. Regarding Madness Machayenge, the television programme that took Kapil’s position, director Karan Johar blasted it for his repulsive impersonation on the show. The full guest list for Zakir’s programme has not yet been announced.
