During PM Modi’s visit, Kaziranga suspends elephant rides and jeep safari from March 7 to 9.

The elephant ride and jeep safari in the Kohora Kaziranga range will be halted from March 7 to 9 due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the Assamese Tiger Reserve and Kaziranga National Park.

“The elephant ride and jeep safari in Kohora’s Kaziranga Range will continue to be inaccessible to tourists. According to a letter from Arun Vignesh, Divisional Forest Officer, Eastern Assam Wildlife Division, Jeep Safari would not be open to guests on March 7, March 8, or March 9. The forenoon and elephant ride will also be canceled on March 8 and 9.

On March 8 and 9, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a visit to the national park. On March 8th, the evening, he is anticipated to arrive in the park and spend the night there.

During his visit, the prime minister is expected to have a forest safari in the park’s Kohora range. He has scheduled both an elephant and a jeep safari for his two days. In February 1974, Kaziranga was designated as a national park, and this year marks its Golden Jubilee.

On March 9, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to unveil the spectacular 125-foot-tall bronze monument of world-renowned Ahom general Lachit Barphukan at Jorhat.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to deliver a speech at a public gathering at Meleng Meteli Pothar in Jorhat, lay the foundation stone of Sivasagar Medical College, and conduct the ‘Griha Pravesh’ ceremony for the 5.5 lakh residences constructed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

On March 9, the prime minister will travel to Arunachal Pradesh as well. He is going to open the Sela Tunnel in West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh. Next, according per a government statement, PM Modi will launch many development projects in Itanagar.
