Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi have released their first romantic song from their upcoming movie Gehraiyaan. The song, called Doobey, features their strong chemistry as they fall in love without worrying too much about the consequences. Doobey is sung by Lothika, written by Kausar Munir, and composed by OAFF Savera.

Gehraiyaan is a “domestic noir” that delves into complex modern relationships. The film stars Deepika Padukone as Alisha, Delia Kava as her boyfriend, Ananya Pandey as her cousin Tia, and Sidhardt as Tia’s fiancé Zane . Directed by Shakun Batra of Kapoor And Sons fame, the film is also produced by Karan Johar through his banner Dharma Productions. Speaking of his new family work, Karan said that Gehraiyaan may come in the form of an infidelity drama, but it’s really an insight into the lives of complex characters.

“The trailer is just on the surface, but there’s a lot more to it than the eye sees,” Karan said during the virtual trailer launch. On the surface you might think this is a movie about an infidelity relationship, but not only That’s it. It’s talking about more, more options and consequences,”

He said Gehraiyaan was one of them. “It’s a movie you haven’t seen. It’s about the power of love, desire, and longing for millennials, and how they respond to love, desire, and longing, and the choices they can make. Sometimes desire It takes precedence over love, and love is sometimes attacked for its innocence,” he said.
Gehraiyaan also played key roles in Nasseruddin Shah and Rajat Kapur. It’s scheduled to launch on Amazon Prime Video on February 11.

Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
