Himachal Pradesh Allows Interstate Travel Without E-Passes
While traveling between states, there will be no need for e-pass to go to Himachal Pradesh. The state has abolished the earlier rule of taking e-pass before travel and has given permission to travel in the state without any pass.
The decision was taken in a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday. Earlier, the cabinet decided to continue the registration process till 15 September to stop the spread of coronavirus. Now any person, whether he is a resident of Himachal Pradesh or a tourist, can enter the state without an e-pass.
A few days ago, the state decided to reopen the temples from 10 September. Temples were closed in the state for 6 months due to Corona. After this decision, the popular temple of Naina Devi in Bilaspur district, Chintpurni in Una district, Baba Balak Nath in Hamirpur district, Brajeshwari Devi, Jwalaji and Chamunda Devi in Kangra district, and Bhimakali and Hatakeshwari in Shimla district have started their arrival.
