In a bizarre turn of events, Olivia Wilde served ex-boyfriend Jason Sudeikis with custody papers

Olivia Wilde was apparently served legal documents by her ex Jason Sudeikis while she was in the middle of her presentation at CinemaCon. While Olivia continued with her presentation– albeit after getting bit flustered–the incident did raise some concerns about the security at the event. Sources have claimed Jason Sudaikis did not know in advance that the documents would be delivered to Olivia at that time.

CinemaCon is an annual convention of movie theatre owners and the 2022 edition is underway in Las Vegas from April 25-28. Every year, the event sees first look reveals, trailers, and announcements of several big films before they are released to the public. Olivia was on stage presenting the trailer of her upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling, when an individual slid a large manila envelope across the stage. A surprised Olivia asked, “This is for me?” before reading the contents.

The couple were engaged for seven years and have two children together, but have been separated since 2020. It later emerged that it was actually custody papers for their two children.

CinemaCon said that they would ‘re-evaluate’ their security protocols after an uninvited person made it onto the stage. Every attendee at the high-profile convention must have the visitor’s badge to enter the venue. We will act accordingly because it’s the right thing to do. We want to do the safe, proper thing, head of CinemaCon Mitch Neuhauser told Variety.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
