In the midst of the Mahesh Babu issue, SRK followers unearth an old video about him leaving Bollywood.

An old video of Shah Rukh Khan talking about why he can’t be a part of Hollywood has surfaced online as Telugu star Mahesh Babu made headlines with his statement that Bollywood can’t afford him. It shows Shah Rukh listing the various reasons why he is ineligible for Hollywood roles. The actor’s fans were once again blown away by what he said.

Shah Rukh talks to international media at an event in this 14-year-old video. When asked if he has any plans to enter Hollywood, Shah Rukh responds, “My English not good,” which causes a few people to burst out laughing.

“If they give me a role as a dumb person who doesn’t speak, maybe,” he continues. I’m not trying to be modest, but I’m 42 years old, a little brown, and an actor without a unique selling point. I don’t know Kung fu, can’t dance Latin salsa, and am too short. Anyone my age in the Western world, having seen recent European films, films of what you call “the dream factory,” believes there is no room for me. I don’t think I’m that talented, so there’s no place for me.”

“So I’d like to keep working in India, and hopefully I’ll be able to introduce Indian cinema to the rest of the world,” he says.

Fans of the actor reacted to the video after it was shared on Reddit. “What I love about this answer is that he called out the West b* as well,” one fan said. The comments about Kung Fu and Salsa are very pointed; the West only accepts people from outside when they want to cast them in stereotypical roles. SRK knows he’s worth a lot more.” “What an utterly charming guy!!!” said another. THIS is what distinguishes him as a mega mega superstar.” “He’s like that kid in class who says he’s bad at studies and then goes on to get a 95%,” another fan said. “He once said he likes to self loathe a lot but I know he’s not serious lol he definitely knows himself,” another fan wrote.

Another comment read, “He is so hot and the self-deprecating words & tone just added to it more.” “This guy can sell apples to a tree,” a fan added. My god, the way he speaks and walks. It’s not like they call you king for no reason.”

Shah Rukh holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the prestigious Hansraj College in Delhi. He is also a mass communication expert. He has received the Padma Shri award, as well as the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres and the Legion of Honour from the French government.

In Pathaan, Shah Rukh will be seen opposite Deepika Padukone. Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki is his current project.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
