Intelligence inputs reveal Pak-backed Khalistani terrorists behind Ludhiana court blast

According to intelligence agencies, the explosion in the Ludhiana courthouse on Thursday killed one person and injured at least five others. It was carried out by Khalistani terrorists using the local gang. These agencies stated that a group backed by Kharistan, supported by the Pakistani Intelligence Service, may have been behind the planning and execution of the Ludhiana court bombing.

They also stated that the Punjab government has been ignoring the state’s alerts and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for combating terrorist and extremist activities.

A senior official said that after the Red Fort incident, Punjab’s intelligence agencies are paying close attention to the Khalistan army trying to resume its movement. The handlers stationed in Pakistan are instructing their ground staff to carry out terrorist activities in Punjab. He added that many such attempts have been thwarted in joint operations with the state police.

“We got specific opinions about the employment and radicalization of local gangs to revive the Khalistan movement supported by the Pakistani Intelligence Service. We shared these opinions with the local police and launched a statewide operation , In order to prepare a list of criminals who have been released on bail or absconded. The recovery in the past few months is just the tip of the iceberg,” a senior police officer said.

At the same time, Charanjit Singh Channi, Chief Minister of Punjab State, stated that as the parliamentary polls approached, “anti-ethnic forces are trying to spread anarchy in the state”. When talking with reporters in Ludhiana, he said that on the surface, the people who died in the incident seemed to be carrying bombs. He said the body has not been removed from the scene to avoid destroying the crime scene.

“As the opinion polls approach, it seems that someone is trying to spread anarchy. What forces, institutions, or groups are behind… The case is under investigation, and we will pursue it to the end,” Channi said.

According to reports, the explosion occurred at 12:22 pm in a bathroom on the second floor of the building. The explosion damaged the walls of the bathroom, tore part of the building, and shattered the glass in nearby rooms. When the explosion occurred, the district court was overcrowded and operating.
