Leave of all Delhi govt officers, staff cancelled to handle Covid surge

In view of the continuous increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the city and the need for sufficient manpower to deal with the situation, the Delhi government has cancelled the leave of all its officials, officials and staff and instructed them not to leave the station.

According to an order issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Tuesday, it is expected that curbing the pandemic will involve large-scale mobilization of human resources at all levels of the city government.

The order said: “The competent authority has instructed to cancel all holidays except sick leave granted to all officials/officials/staff of all departments and offices of the Delhi government until further orders are issued.”

It further instructed that, except for medical reasons, no leave should be granted to officials, officials and staff of different departments of the Delhi GNCT, nor should they leave their posts.

According to a health announcement issued by the Delhi city government on Wednesday, Delhi recorded 10,665 new Covid cases and 8 deaths due to viral diseases within 24 hours.

Partha Sarathi Deb passed away on Friday, and his remains were taken to Technician’s Studio at 12 pm.

Bengali actor Partha Sarathi Deb, aged 68, passed away at a Kolkata hospital while undergoing treatment, according to his family.

Partha passed away at 11:50 pm on Friday night due to COPD-related ailments. He had been admitted to state-run M R Bangur hospital for the last month, and his condition worsened over the past week, and he was in the ICU.

Actor Jeet expressed sadness over the loss of colleague and WBAF committee member Partha Sarathi Deb on X, sharing a photo and offering condolences to his bereaved family and friends.

Actress Rupanjana Mitra announced the news on Facebook, writing a lengthy note in Bengali.

Partha, the vice president of the West Bengal Motion Picture Artists Forum, condoled the death of actor Amit Shah and announced that his body would be taken to Technician Studio, a familiar place for him.

The forum is deeply saddened by the actor’s passing and will keep his remains at Technician’s Studio on March 23, where his loved ones, teammates, and well-wishers can pay their last respects.
