Actor Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput’s Worli house has been under construction for over a year. Mila shared a photo on social media.

Mira shared the photo on her Instagram Stories, writing: “How to build a home away from home on Zoom Annkur Khosla” and “to the next”. Annkur is currently designing Shahid and Mira’s dream home.

In the photo, off-white and light brown furniture and floor lamps can be seen. A huge painting of nature was also captured in the photo.

Shahid and Mira have previously shared glimpses of the work in progress in their home. Last month, Annkur shared a video from the balcony of Mira and Shahid’s new house. “Chasing Shadows and Targets,” the video’s caption reads. Mila retweeted the video on Instagram Stories and wrote, “Never again. Beep beep!”

Shahid bought the two-storey luxury property back in 2018. Spread over the 42nd and 43rd floors of a high-rise building called 360 West in Worli, the apartment offers views of the Arabian Sea, including the Bandra-Worli sea passage. Shahid has reportedly paid Rs 560 crore for the 427.98 sqm property .

In an interview with DNA in 2019, Shaheed opened up about his reasons for buying the new house and his plans to move there. “I bought a new house in central Mumbai. It will be a year and a half, maybe even two years before we do the interiors and move in. Mira and I booked a new home with other facilities like a garden and gym. Today , our request is to provide Misha a safe place where she can play with other people. We want her to be with children her age because then she can have a normal childhood,” he said.

The couple’s current home is next to Zhuhu Beach. According to the Economic Times, Shaheed bought the house for Rs 300 crore.

Shahid and Mira tied the knot in 2015. The couple have two children together, a daughter named Misha and a son named Zain.
