Motorola Edge 20 Pro to Launch in India Today: Expected Price, Specifications
Motorola Edge 20 Pro was launched in India on Friday and is the latest model of the company’s Motorola Edge 20 series. The new Motorola mobile phone is equipped with a 144Hz AMOLED display and a triple rear camera. It also has a punch-hole display design and provides an Android-like experience. Other key highlights include Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, 30W fast charging and 5G support. Motorola Edge 20 Pro will compete with products such as OnePlus 9R, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE and Mi 11X Pro in the country. The price of Motorola Edge 20 Pro in India has been set at Rs. The single 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version is 36,999. The phone is available in two colors, midnight sky and rainbow cloud, and will be available for pre-orders through Flipkart from Sunday, October 3. Motorola Edge 20 Pro’s launch offers include a 10% discount on the purchase of Axis and ICICI bank cards under the Flipkart Big Billion Days promotion. It will also provide free EMI options for up to six months through ICICI and HDFC bank credit cards. Motorola Edge 20 Pro was initially launched in Europe in late July, priced at 699.99 euros (approximately 60,200 rupees). 12GB RAM + 256GB storage configuration. Dual SIM (Nano) Motorola Edge 20 Pro runs on Android 11, My UX is on the top, and is equipped with a 6.7-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Max Vision AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch up to 576Hz Delay. The display also has a 20:9 aspect ratio and HDR10+ support, as well as 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the top. Under the hood, Motorola Edge 20 Pro is equipped with eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, Adreno 650 GPU and 8GB LPDDR5 RAM. The phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, which contains a 108 megapixel main sensor with f/1.9 lens. It also includes an 8-megapixel sensor with a periscope-shaped telephoto lens with an aperture of f/3.4. In addition, the rear camera setup has a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video chats, the front of Motorola Edge 20 Pro is equipped with a 32-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/2.25 lens. Motorola Edge 20 Pro is equipped with 128GB UFS 3.1 storage space. Connection options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/A-GPS, NFC and USB Type-C ports. Onboard sensors include accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, magnetometer and proximity sensor. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that can be used under the power button. Motorola provides a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W TurboPower fast charging. This phone is made of IP52 grade aluminum alloy, with a speaker tuned by Waves Maxx Audio Mobile placed on the bottom. In addition, it measures 163x76x7.99mm and weighs 190 grams.

Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.
The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.
Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
