Now, a Congress leader has shared a video of Rahul Gandhi in Nepal, saying…

In the midst of a row over Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Nepal, Congress leader Manickam Tagore has posted a video of him participating in a wedding ritual. “For ous sanghis’ consideration… lies don’t last long. The truth will triumph “As he posted the video, the Congressman tweeted. Rahul Gandhi can be seen in the video sitting among the guests, cheering and clapping for the newlyweds.

After BJP leaders shared a video of Rahul Gandhi partying at a nightclub in Kathmandu on social media, it went viral. The Congress clarified that Rahul Gandhi travelled to Nepal to attend the wedding of a journalist friend.

On social media, it was claimed that the woman seen chatting with Rahul Gandhi was the Chinese ambassador. As fact-checkers debunked the claim, reporting that the woman was from Nepal and a friend of the bride, Sumnima Udas, a friend of Rahul Gandhi, past tweets by Sumnima Udas came to light, as the journalist had backed Nepal’s map, which included parts of Uttarakhand.

“Rahul Gandhi was allegedly present at the wedding of Sumnima Udas, the daughter of a Nepali diplomat who actively supports Nepal’s claim to parts of India’s Uttarakhand. Why does Rahul only have ties with those who challenge India’s territorial integrity, from China to Nepal?” According to Amit Malviya.

Manickam Tagore’s video hammers home the party’s claim that Rahul Gandhi was not in Nepal on official business. He was only there to witness the wedding of Sumnima Udas, the daughter of Nepal’s former ambassador to Myanmar, Bhim Udas.

It was reported that Rahul Gandhi had moved out of the five-star hotel and to a resort near Kathmandu, amid controversies over the identity of the woman seen with him at the night club.
