The OnePlus 10 Pro will launch in China today (January 11). The company says this will be the first phone to launch the latest version of ColorOS 12.1 in China.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is likely to use a hyperboloid screen with very narrow bezels on both sides, as well as the chin and top. The company revealed that the punch-hole still remains in the top left corner, the same as last year. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. It will feature a 120Hz LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display on the front.
It will have a 5,000mAh battery inside that supports 80W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging. In addition, it will also support reverse wireless charging.
A recent report claims that the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a notable update that adds a shooting mode called RAW Plus, which, like Apple’s ProRAW format, combines the best of computational photography and RAW image capture. RAW+ mode will be an upgrade from the traditional RAW mode on the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will feature a new triple rear camera array along with the Hasselblad camera branding on the back. OnePlus also revealed that the smartphone will be available in two color options – Volcano Black and Forest Emerald.
Ahead of the official launch, the company has started taking pre-orders for the same in China. According to GizmoChina, those who want to pre-order the OnePlus 10 Pro smartphone can do so by paying a deposit of 100 yuan ($16). Additionally, the company is offering free TWS earbuds to those who pre-order the smartphone.
According to the listing, the phone will be available in three memory configurations – 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, 8GB RAM and 512GB storage, and 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

Surfaces of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra with Snapdragon 8S Gen 3
Early this week, renders of the Edge 50 Fusion appeared, and Motorola has previously stated that the Edge 50 Pro will ship on April 3. The highest-end smartphone in the Edge 50 series, the Edge 50 Ultra, has now been shown in renders.
The phone is depicted in the renderings in peach fuzz and black with a vegan leather finish, while sisal, a beige color, will have a brushed surface. As opposed to the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 in the Pro variant and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 in the Edge 50 Fusion, the phone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
A 50MP primary camera, an ultra-wide camera, and a periscope telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom are all included in the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra’s feature set. Additionally, there is a triple LED flash on the right side and a laser autofocus feature above the periscope lens.
Although the phone’s display, battery, and charging specifications are yet unknown, the Edge 50 Pro is said to include 12GB of RAM and support both 50W and 125W wired and wireless charging.
It is anticipated that this will launch as the Motorola X50 Ultra in China. It is unclear if the India launch may be expected on the same day as the rest of the Edge 50 series phones, even if this is scheduled to go official on April 3.
