PM Modi to participate in 25th National Youth Festival in Puducherry today, inaugurate ₹145 crore projects
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the 25th National Youth Day in Pondicherry today on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, India’s National Youth Day. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the festival will take place from January 12 to 13 due to the ongoing coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic.
Modi will address the inauguration programme at 11am today.
Apart from this, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate a technology centre, which will funtion under the Union ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), and an auditorium with open air theatre known as the ‘Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Manimandapam’.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted about today’s event and provided some photos of the auditorium. Earlier on Monday (January 10), he had invited his “young friends” to join today’s programme and urged them to “share their opinions”.
The technology centre has been built at a cost of nearly ₹122 crore with a focus on the electronic system design and manufacturing (ESDM) sector. It will cater to the skill development of youth and also train around 6,400 trainees per year, the PMO statement read.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.
No stars from OTT?
The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT.
