PM Modi to release 10th installment of PM-KISAN today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) will release the tenth fiscal benefit on Saturday under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) plan. The event will be organized via video conference at 12:30 pm.

According to the official statement of the Prime Minister’s Office, more than 20,000 crore funds will be transferred to more than 100 million beneficiary farmers’ families. The statement further stated that the initiative is consistent with the government’s continued commitment and determination to empower grassroots farmers.

It is worth noting that, according to the plan, eligible farmers can obtain economic benefits of 6,000 rupees per year, which can be paid in three instalments and 2,000 rupees in installments every four months. The funds are transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiary.

According to the news agency ANI, so far, more than 160,000 rupees have been transferred to farmers’ families under the plan.

According to Livehindustan, the plan also does not apply to current or retired government employees, current or former members of Congress, MLA or ministers of farmland owners. Those who use farmland for work other than agriculture are not eligible for the program. In addition, people who work on other people’s farms and are not landowners are not eligible.

At the same time, ANI reported that during the event, the Prime Minister will also issue more than 140 million rupees in equity grants to approximately 351 farmer producer organizations (FPOs), which will benefit more than 124,000 farmers.

The report further stated that Modi is expected to also address the country during the event.

The ninth batch of the PM-KISAN program was released by the Prime Minister in August this year, when he almost transferred Rs 19,500 crore to more than 975,000 farmers.
