Railways gives jobs to 2,800 family members of employees who died of COVID

For humanitarian reasons, Indian Railways employs nearly 2,800 employees who are close relatives of employees who died of Covid-19 while working during the pandemic.

The Ministry of Railways said on Wednesday that the young children of the deceased will be hired when they reach the age of 18. Since March 2020, Indian Railways has lost 3,256 employees at all levels and departments working in stations, tracks and workshops due to Covid-19. Within four months, 87% of their family members were employed by the railway.

In most cases, the task is undertaken by the son or wife. In some other cases, spouses request that their work be suspended until they complete their continuing education and are eligible for higher-level positions.

Most of the work is in Group D. Mumbai’s Midwest Railway had the highest number of deaths, with 743 people killed.

According to reports, the railway company hopes to complete a compassionate recruitment campaign before the end of this month. Following a decision made by the coalition cabinet led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday, the railway company also announced a performance-linked bonus equivalent to 78 days’ wages for its employees.

In an interview with Times Now, she questioned whether she joined politics due to her movies’ poor box office performance, comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous unsuccessful films.

Kangana responded to a question about her career, stating that she has never had a flop. She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.

No stars from OTT?

The last generation of stars, known for their talent and demand, are now able to showcase their talents more through OTT.
