Rajinikanth Says Dhanush Is ‘Good Son-in-law,’ ‘Takes Care of His Wife’ in Viral Video

The announcement of Dhanush and Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth’s separation caused an uproar on the internet. The pair announced their parting ways on Monday night, January 17, via a joint statement on social media. Dhanush and superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya tied the knot in 2004 and are the parents of two sons, Yatra and Linga, born in 2006 and 2010.

After their split, an old video of Rajinikanth praising Dhanush went viral on social media. In the video, Rajinikanth compliments Dhanush at Kaala’s music launch, calling him a “good” father and husband.

“Danush was a wonderful boy. He respected his parents and regarded them as gods. He took care of his wife. He was a good father, a good son-in-law, a good man, a good talent,” Rajnikan said. Te said in the video.

The Telugu film Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, has collected an estimated ₹5.75 crore nett in India on its first day of box office collection, marking an impressive opening day for the film.

Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
