Ranveer Singh shares his reaction to wife Deepika Padukone’s Gehraiyaan trailer, which arrived on Thursday. The actor called it “moody, sexy and intense,” in addition to expressing gratitude for his “baby girl.”
Ranveer shared a still of Deepika’s Gehraiyaan on Instagram, writing: “Moody, Sexy and Intense!!! (Fire Icon) Domestic Black? Sign me up! All favorites @shakunbatra @ananyapanday @siddhantchaturvedi @dhairyakarwa Naseer the Legend! Also There are girls with my babe who look like Fazillion buxxx (tongue sticking out icon) @deepikapadukone made by the sexiest @karanjohar (wink emoji).”
Deepika “liked” the post, and many others like Ayushmann Khurrana, Kiara Advani, Varun Dhawan and Neha Dhupia. Ananya Panday reacted to Ranveer’s post, “You are the favorite.” Dhairya Karwa, who plays Deepika’s boyfriend in the film, commented: “Bhai (heart icon).” Siddhant Chaturvedi also removed a heart in the comments section shape icon.
Directed by Shakun Batra, Gehraiyaan is a film about complex modern relationships starring Deepika, Siddhant, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa.
Deepika said on-screen intimacy is not an easy task, and credits filmmaker Shakun Batra for creating a safe environment on set. For the first time in a Bollywood blockbuster, the filmmaker has hired Dar Gai as an intimate director.

In an interview with Times Now, she questioned whether she joined politics due to her movies’ poor box office performance, comparing it to Shah Rukh Khan’s previous unsuccessful films.

She compared Shah Rukh Khan’s films to Pathaan, Queen, and Manikarnika, noting that if she had a flop in Emergency, it would be a big hit. Kangana compared her career to Shah Rukh Khan, who had consecutive flops for ten years. She also mentioned that she had not had a single hit for 7-8 years before Queen, but after that, she had a few good movies.
