Raveena asked KGF 2 director for a scene with Sanjay Dutt. Why it didn’t happen

Raveena Tandon has just made her web show debut with Aranyak, and she also has a highly anticipated Kannada film in the works called KGF Chapter 2. The film also stars Yash in the lead role with Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. However, Ravina regretted not being in the film with Sanjay.

Raveena said she’s looking forward to working with Sanjay, but the storyline doesn’t call for any of their parts to be together. She revealed that the two even reached out to director Prashanth Neel in hopes of bringing them together, but in vain.

Speaking to News 18, the Aranyak actor said: “Sanjay and I thought we’d be as big as we used to be on set, but unfortunately we didn’t share screen space on the film. Our shooting plans never Overlap. In fact, we asked Prashant if we could fix something, but there was no room for my script.”

Raveena and Sanjay have previously worked in several films such as Jeena Marna Tere Sang (1992), Kshatriya (1993), Zamane Se Kya Darna (1994), Vijeta (1996) and Jung (2000). Sanjay plays the villain in KGF Chapter 2 while Ravina plays a powerful prime minister in the film. Lavina, who played Ramy Carson, introduced her character as “The Gavel of Atrocity.” She has denied rumours her character was inspired by former prime minister Indira Gandhi. The KGF series of films tells the story of Rocky (Yash), who rises from poverty and becomes the king of the gold mine.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
