Riya Chakraborty’s Lawyer Raises Questions On Transfer Sushant Case To CBI

Recently, Sushant’s father KK Singh filed a case against Riya Chakraborty at Rajiv Nagar police station in Bihar. After this, Riya approached the Supreme Court. Riya in her petition demanded that the case filed in Bihar be transferred to Mumbai. The matter is yet to be heard in the Supreme Court. Now Riya’s lawyer Satish has come out with a statement on this.

Riya’s lawyer has questioned the recommendation of the Bihar government in which the case has been recommended to be transferred to the CBI. The lawyer says that this case cannot be transferred to the CBI as there is no basis for Bihar Police to join it. This case does not come under their jurisdiction.

Riya’s lawyer said- Riya had filed a petition in the Supreme Court stating that the investigation of this case does not come under the jurisdiction of Bihar Police, this petition will continue in the Supreme Court. There is no legal basis for Bihar Police to join this case. At most, it will be zero FIR and it will be transferred to Mumbai Police. We have realized this because the Bihar police did not have the right to investigate the case, so they used the wrong way to investigate. By doing this, they are interfering retroactively on the federal structure of our country.

Sushant’s father talked to CM Nitish Kumar and demanded a CBI inquiry into the case. After which CM Nitish has sent a recommendation of CBI inquiry to the Center. While talking to Aaj Tak, Bihar CM Nitish said – I spoke to Sushant Singh Rajput’s father. He demanded a CBI inquiry. Based on their demand, the Bihar government will recommend a CBI inquiry. All paperwork will be done by this evening.
