Road rage near Delhi’s Red Fort leaves three wounded in gunfire
Three men were shot in road rage near Red Fort in Delhi on Monday night, police said, adding they had arrested the accused.
Police Deputy Commissioner (North) Sagar Singh Kalsi said a 32-year-old man and his wife were travelling home in a two-wheeler when they were hit by another two-wheeler and fall. The person who hit them was on the phone with someone at the time of the collision. After the accident, the 32-year-old man’s claim for compensation escalated into a scuffle, in which his wife was allegedly abused.
The cyclist who hit the couple called four men to the scene and they fired at the crowd who had gathered there. A relative of the couple also rushed to the scene and was injured along with two passersby. “They are all being treated and are said to be out of danger,” Kalsey said.
He was one of four people who came on two motorcycles with a pistol in hand.
Prosecutions have been brought under Indian Penal Code Section 307 (Attempted Murder), Section 34 (Act by Several Persons to Promote Common Intention) and Weapons Act.
Police said they arrested the accused after solving the case within 24 hours.

As Janaki in the new Adipurush poster, Kriti Sanon emanates charm and dominates the internet
Adipurush featuring Kriti Sanon and Sita Navami unveiled new posters showcasing her as Janaki. The producers of Adipurush unveiled a new motion poster featuring Kriti Sanon, inspired by Sita from the Hindu mythology text Ramayana. The poster is a beige saree with a saffron dupatta covering her head, and features Prabhas as the main theme. It was unveiled on Ram Navami. Kriti and Janaki are reunited and the song Jai Siya Ram is heard in the background. The makers have revealed new posters on Ram Navami, showing the moral courage of their son.

Reacting to a new poster, a fan wrote “Mam What should I say Jai Mata Sita or Jai mata kriti?” and someone commented on the best poster until then. It has been selected by the jury of Tribeca Festival, and the team is excited to see audiences reaction at the world premiere. Adipurush will have its World Premiere at The Tribeca Festival in New York, making Indian films a source of pride for the nation. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles support the film.
