Samantha Ruth Prabhu wears a seductive cut-out top with flared pants. For the summer, colour block fashion is championed

When it comes to fashion, summer is all about bright colours that reflect the season’s fresh and playful vibes. Color blocking elements can be used to achieve the same effect in one’s wardrobe. One way to make a sartorial statement is to combine two shades from the same family, a brighter and a lighter hue. Samantha Ruth Prabhu is championing this style trend like a total fashionista, proving it is the perfect look for the warmer weather, according to her latest Instagram post. We’re smitten with every aspect of this season’s fashion.

Samantha shared new photos from a photoshoot on Tuesday, showcasing her embrace of the colour blocking sartorial statement. The actress was shown wearing a bright red top and light pink pants. “‘Twas some day [tea and fire emoji],” she wrote in the caption. Samantha’s outfit was styled by celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr and came from the shelves of clothing label The Attico. Take a look ahead to see what I’m talking about.

Samantha went for a trendy look for the photoshoot. Her red bodysuit top has ribbed details on the torso and sleeves, a keyhole cut-out in the front, a knotted neckline that shows off her décolletage, long sleeves, and a figure-hugging silhouette.

Samantha elegantly tucked the bodysuit into the baby pink pants. It has a floor-grazing hem length, a high-rise waistline, and a fitted top that extends to form a flared bottom. To accessorise the color-blocked look, the star chose gold-toned jewels. She opted for statement rings and hoop earrings.

Samantha’s glam picks included black winged eyeliner, lash mascara, filled-in brows, subtle shimmery eye shadow, glowing skin, blushed cheeks, light pink lip shade, beaming highlighter, and sharp contouring. Samantha’s look was completed by her center-parted and voluminous open tresses with wavy ends.

Samantha is currently working on a number of projects, including Vijay Deverakonda’s Kushi, a multilingual mythological drama called Shaakuntalam, and a Telugu film called Yashoda.

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
