Actress Shagufta Ali has said that she has been in financial trouble for four years and had to sell her car and jewelry.

According to Shagufta, all his savings have been exhausted and things got more difficult during the pandemic in the last year.

She told the Indian Express, “For the last 6 years I am a victim of a severe type of diabetes, whose effect has started showing on both my feet. There is always a variety of problems with the feet. Diabetes also started affecting my eyesight. Due to not getting any kind of work for the last four years, it can be said that the epidemic had come for me long ago.”

54-year-old Shagufta, who entered the acting world 36 years ago, lives in Mumbai with her old mother and her cousin’s daughter.

Shagufta Ali, who was sick and troubled by financial constraints, had to sell his car and jewelry in the last few years.

Shagufta says, “At one time I used to have a lot of work and I used to be very busy. But I will have to see such bad days, I never dreamed of this.”

The Telugu film Family Star, directed by Parasuram Petla, has collected an estimated ₹5.75 crore nett in India on its first day of box office collection, marking an impressive opening day for the film.

Family Star reported a 38.45% Telugu occupancy on day 1, with Warangal having the highest occupancy (57.5%), followed by Visakhapatnam and Kakinada (56.75% each).
