Actor Shabana Azmi announced on Instagram that she had tested positive for Covid-19. Actor Divya Dutta, producer Boney Kapoor and others reacted to the post.

The actor shared her health updates with her fans and followers on her Instagram account. She posted a photo of herself with the caption: “Tested positive for Covid-19 today. I have quarantined myself at home and asked everyone I have been in close contact with to get tested,” she wrote in the caption.

“Get well soon Shabana ji,” wrote actor Divya Dutta. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra commented: “Take care. Get well soon.” Filmmaker Boney Kapoor expressed concern for Shabana’s husband Javed Akhtar, writing: “Oh God please stay away from Javed Saab.” Saif Ali Khan’s sister, Saba Ali Khan, said: “Adab. Get well soon.” Actor Lillete Dubey wrote: “Get well soon.”

One fan commented: “Corona in love with you. Get well soon.” Another said: “You look so classy. Love what’s around your neck. Get well soon.” Another said: “Quick Get well, ma’am. Hope Mr Javed is all right. Get well soon.” Many other fans in the comments section also expressed concern for Javed Akhtar.

In a 2020 interview with The Hindustan Times, when Shabana was asked how she and Javed were coping with the lockdown, she said: “Let it be. For someone as gregarious as me, I could never imagine that I would keep Sober. Javed was used to periods of solitude while writing, so it was easier for him. But we’ve never spent that much time together and we’ve always enjoyed each other’s company, so it’s a good thing for us personally .”

Shabana will appear in Karan Johar’s director Rocky Aur R​​ni Ki Prem Kahani, which also stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan.
