Soha Ali Khan says brother Saif Ali Khan is ‘life of a party’, calls Kareena Kapoor ‘bindaas’

More recently, Soha Ali Khan made headlines in the recently released web show Kaun Banegi Shikharwati. Now, in a recent interaction with RJ Siddharth Kannan, Soha revealed some interesting details about her family members, including brother Saif Ali Khan, his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and her own mother Sharmila Tagore. According to Soha, her mother and her brother had frequent fights.

Speaking of Saif Ali Khan, Soha said he was definitely “the life of the party”. She further revealed that her sister-in-law, Kareena Kapoor Khan, is nothing like she imagined. According to Soha Ali Khan, Kareena is an “interesting” person. Also, she loves watching Saif and Karina together. “It’s nice to see them together because I don’t imagine her like she is at all,” Soha added, referring to Kareena as “bindaas”.

In the same interaction, Soha also stated that Saif and her mother, Sharmila Tagore, fought frequently. Obviously, Soha Ali Khan had to mediate every time mother and son had an argument. She said: “My mum is a little nagging…she’s actually scary and not sweet at all. Everyone who speaks Bengali is such a mishti (sweet) language, not at all. She only speaks in Bangla and do hisaab kitaab (accounts) in Bangla. As a result, none of us can speak Bengali. But she will say if there is any quarrel in the first place, my brother (Saif Ali Khan) has this wonderful relationship with her everytime they fight each other They all call me, and I’m the one who has to intercede.”

Soha Ali Khan continued: “Then she would pick up the phone and hang up. I was like I didn’t do anything. It’s just that they couldn’t say to each other, they easily said to me”

Family Star review

The Hindustan Times’ review of the movie Family Star, starring Vijay Deverakonda and directed by Parasuram Petla, suggests that the film struggles to make a mark or entertain, with issues reminiscent of Geetha Govindam (2018). The film tests patience and fails to maintain interest as it progresses.

The review criticizes the plot of Family Star, stating that it is thin and defies logic, making it difficult to enjoy. It also suggests that the film’s portrayal of middle-class life is caricaturish, as if it was written by someone unfamiliar with the realities of such a life.
