Actress Sushmita Sen revealed that she is proud of the “article number” she has used throughout her career. In a recent interview, Sushmita has stated that it was previously not in favor of having male or female protagonists play roles in singles in films. However, she revealed that she was always willing to be a part of these songs.

Over the years, Sushmita Sen has appeared in several project numbers, including Main Kudi Anjani Hoon (Zor), Mehboob Mere (Fiza), Dilbar Dilbar (Sirf Tum), Shakalaka Baby (Nayak) and Shakira (No Problem). The actor has appeared in more than 30 films in multiple languages.

In an interview with Film Companion, Sushmita said: “I’m proud that at the time they would ask ‘part number? Male lead, female lead item number nhi ​​karte hai, prestige kharab hojayega (male lead does not provide item number, it’s not good for their reputation) .I was like (raises her hand) mujhe lelo (take me there). Sushmita was last seen in the web series Aarya 2 directed by Ram Madhvani. She tries out the role of Aarya Sareen, a mother battling a dark world of crime and enemies that loom over her family and children.

The second season of Aarya, currently airing on Disney Hotstar, premiered on December 10. The web series also stars Sikandar Kher, Vikas Kumar, Mayo Sarao, Ankur Bhatia, Akash Khurana and Dilnaz Irani, among others. It is co-produced by Endemol Shine India and Ram Madhvani Films.
